This.....merits some explanation.
Quite a while ago, I was thinking of what I wanted to do as an independent study for school. I decided I wanted to do a comic about a female superhero, or a group of them. That idea kinda fell through in general (ending up as my Wonder Woman project instead), but I drew this while I was working on it. I thought it would be hilarious if there was a feminist group of superheroines who called themselves the Vulvasquad, and thus this picture was born.
These characters were originally connected to my "X-men Evolution" stories, and one of them isn't even mine. I've now detached them from that so if I want to use them for original work in the future, I can without having to pay royalties Here's who's who, from left to right:
Decay aka Kay, aka Teresa. Power: can isolate spherical areas of any space and control the flow of time within them, causing them to age very, very rapidly. Thus, whatever's in that space gets very old and breaks down as if it had done so naturally over many years.
Iris aka Ayame, or Aya. Power: can change the color of any object, creature, etc. with her mind. Works better if she's touching it.
Gale aka Windy (real name - Frances, though few know that). Power: can create and control the wind. Pretty simple.
Gravitatia aka Herminia. Power: can control gravity. Also pretty simple.
Pyat aka Vasha. Power: can jump forward or backward in time in increments of five minutes. Also, created by my wonderful girlfriend ~LadyDragonTear
Soooo yeah. There's obviously a lot more to their characters than these simple explanations, but its really late and I'm too tired to get into it. They're a lot of fun though and I hope I get to work with them more soon, and give them a real team name...though I still think this one would be awesome

^___^ Very nice, I hope to see something done with these five eventually! I like all the characters.
I'm amused that Gravitatia is the most BBW one... and how Decay and Iris are snuggling. Decay kinda looks like Tharf, actually...
I'm sad to see that feminism has gotten such a bad rap. Organizations like Concerned Women for America make me *facepalm*.
